Pamela Anne Robinson, 73, of Walker, MN died Friday, May 25, 2018 at her home.
Pam was born August 8, 1944 to Herbert and Charlotte (Harrand) Klatt in Melbourne, Iowa, where she was raised. In 1962, she graduated from Melbourne High School. On August 4th of the same year, Pam was married to William H. Robinson at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Melbourne, IA. The couple lived in Melbourne until moving their family to Walker, MN in 1983, where they owned and operated Steamboat Bay Resort. Pam was a familiar face to many, as she drove school bus for many years.
Pam enjoyed cooking for family and friends and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. She was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church and was on the Hope Lutheran Board of Property Committee. She also served as a Leech Lake Township Trustee.
Survivors include four children, William (Lisa) Robinson of Garnavillo, IA, Michael (Jodi) Robinson of West Fargo, ND, Douglas (Renee) Robinson of Bemidji, MN, Jennifer (Darin) Fagerman of Grand Marais, MN; grandchildren, Jane and Thomas Robinson, Chance and Sydney Robinson, Dacotah and Logan Robinson, John and Sarah Fagerman; mother, Charlotte Klatt; siblings, Vickie Stahl, Herbert (Laura) Klatt, Jeffrey (Marsha) Klatt; brother-in-law, Rick Durr; brother and sister in law, J. Ronald and Connie (Robinson) Everist.
Pam was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Robinson; father, Herbert Klatt; in-laws, Harold and Helen Robinson; sister, Andrea Durr and niece, Karrie Everist.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church in Walker, with visitation for family and friends from 9:00 to 11:00. Burial will be in Eden Cemetery in Rhodes, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Hope Lutheran Church or St. Joseph's Hospice.
